Job Details Salary: Competitive pay based on experience Job Type: Full-Time Location: Wausau, WI 54401 Position Overview As a GM Service Technician, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles while following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols. Your expertise will help ensure vehicles are serviced accurately and efficiently. New Hire Bonus Program GM Master Technician Bonus: $50,000 – awarded upon 95% training completion in the GM Global Connect Center of Learning, verified at hire GM Certified Technician Bonus: $15,000 – awarded upon 50% training completion in the GM Global Connect Center of Learning, verified at hire Key Responsibilities Perform accurate diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs adhering to manufacturer specifications. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technical resources for effective troubleshooting. Stay updated with technical publications, service bulletins, and manufacturer updates. Complete repair orders and documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer standards. Job Requirement:Qualifications and Requirements Experience with warranty and non-warranty repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on multiple vehicle makes and models. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. Ability to follow technical instructions and manufacturer repair procedures precisely. Attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work. Reliable team player with a strong work ethic. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Education and Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required. ASE certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Technical or trade school education is a plus.
