Why This Role Matters

Our customers count on on-time delivery and retail-ready quality. As the operator of our high-speed carton windowing line on 2nd shift, youโ€™re the one who makes that happenโ€”by setting up, maintaining, and running equipment that places plastic film windows and applies adhesive with pinpoint accuracy.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare each run: configure the windowing machine, load board blanks and film rolls, and align materials to spec.
  • Calibrate glue systems and guides to hit exact placement requirements.
  • Monitor quality throughout: check registration, adhesion, and film placement.
  • Maintain target throughput while protecting quality standards.
  • Spot and prevent defectsโ€”including misaligned windows, glue overflow, scratches, and wrinkles.
  • Accurately record counts, downtime events, and scrap.
  • Team with QC and finishing crews to resolve issues fast.
  • Handle routine PM: cleaning, lubrication, and minor part changes.
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical/electrical issues to reduce downtime.
  • Follow safety rules to the letter: LOTO, PPE, and good housekeeping.
  • Coordinate with feeders, packers, and helpers to keep the line efficient.
  • Communicate proactively with supervisors about status, materials, and repairs.
  • Help train apprentices or new teammates when asked.
What You Bring
  • Experience operating finishing/packaging machinery (folding carton or print/pack preferred).
  • Mechanical aptitude for equipment setup, adjustment, and light maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
  • Comfort reading job tickets, work orders, and specs.
  • Solid basic math and measurement skills.
