The candidate will manage a team whose job is to develop, organize, report, track and synthesize all cost data effecting GM on multiple vectors within the BU including but not limited to 1) released product cost and cost roadmap 2) cost reduction activities and their effectiveness, 3)cost of change and auditing of cost containment functions within the bu 4) Cost projections and roadmaps for all NPI programs, status, and risk throughout all phases of the program.

This person will report to the managing director of the value group, will have high visibility to BU decision maker and will be relied on for critical information and analysis on the tactical and strategic level. Key Responsibilities With some supervision, define and articulate the Business Intelligence strategy and Analytics standards globally. Educate and influence key stakeholders throughout both the business and GIS, leading the design and execution of the BI strategy and roadmap, including both existing and future capabilities. Recruit, train, develop and provide performance guidance to the assigned team.

Provides leadership in driving platform decisions for major solutions and provide direction and guidance to internal and external teams to ensure that requirements are met in an architecturally sound manner, meeting fundamental technical requirements such as scalability, security, flexibility, extensibility, reusability and supportability. Provides leadership in review and consultation on the impact of new solutions across multiple domains, including Business Intelligence, Integration, and Data Management. Manage team to in successfully driving common utilization of the BI technology platforms by projects across the organization and will provide thought leadership to fellow Solution Architects, Platform Analysts, and Data Governance Analysts.

Define appropriate solutions to meet and anticipate business requirements, including the performance goals and metrics for the proposed solution. Identify, harmonize and rationalize business and technology requirements to drive value, aligned with Enterprise Templates and Roadmaps as well as Architectural Standards. Drive the operational use of Standards with strategic partners, capturing key knowledge capital and supporting the process required for Template and Architecture Governance.
