We at KEMET, A YAGEO Group Company, help make a wide variety of products possible in the world's most rapidly expanding industries.
Founded in 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio, with over 100 years of technological innovation, we manufacture capacitors and other components for computing, telecommunications, medical, aerospace, defense, and automotive markets. Our components are found in spacecrafts and defibrillators-from outer space to inside our bodies, and in products we use every day. We have the broadest selection of capacitor technologies in the industry, including an expanding range electromechanical device and electromagnetic compatibility solutions.
Summary
KEMET Electronics / YAGEO Group is currently seeking a Global Account Manager onsite at our Milpitas, CA location to lead one of our strategic AI infrastructure customers. This role is a strategic, customer-facing position responsible for global account strategy, commercial performance, executive relationships, and platform-level design-in and design-win execution across a complex hardware ecosystem.
The Global Account Manager will work closely with U.S.-based engineering teams, Asia-based ODM/EMS partners, and YAGEO business units to translate customer architecture and technology roadmaps into scalable Total Solution opportunities. Ideal candidates will bring strong strategic selling capabilities, technical curiosity, commercial discipline, and the ability to build relationships and coordinate global cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary global lead for executive leadership, engineering, strategic sourcing, supply chain, and business stakeholders. Plan and lead high-impact QBRs and technology roadmap reviews.
  • Own global pricing strategy, multi-year agreements, contract negotiations, revenue planning, demand forecasting, and commercial risk management.
  • Translate customer architecture, qualification requirements, and long-term hardware roadmaps into actionable product and technology priorities for YAGEO business units.
  • Build and manage a global opportunity pipeline from early architecture engagement through qualification, design win, and mass production. Maintain accurate CRM data and design-win attribution.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, defend strategic positions, identify whitespace opportunities, and clearly articulate YAGEO's agility, One-Stop-Shop, and Total Solution value proposition.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in the electronics, semiconductor, power electronics, or electronic components industry, including at least 5 years in strategic or global account management.
  • Proven success managing a Tier-1 global OEM, cloud service provider, AI/high-performance computing customer, networking customer, or other complex global technology account.
  • Demonstrated record of securing design wins, growing multi-million-dollar business, and influencing stakeholders within matrixed global organizations.
  • Experience coordinating U.S. engineering teams, global sourcing organizations, and Asia-based ODM/EMS or manufacturing partners.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, and QBR leadership skills.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to discuss customer architecture, product roadmaps, qualification requirements, and system-level value with engineering and business stakeholders.

Location & Work Type
