Sr Network AdministratorThe Senior Network Administrator will combine advanced technical expertise with leadership in complex, cross-functional, network projects and serve as a senior technical authority. The role is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of the organization's global network infrastructure. Acting as the senior technical partner to the Global Network Manager, this role balances hands-on configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting with active participation in shaping enterprise network strategy. The Senior Network Administrator will work closely with IT leadership to align network capabilities with business objectives, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable operations, that support our global footprint. This role also will help drive the adoption of cloud networking, automation, and AI-enabled operational capabilities to improve network performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

We're looking for a Senior Network Administrator who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. In this role, you'll partner with the Global Network Manager to shape and deliver the next generation of our global network through advanced networking, cloud connectivity, automation, and AI-enabled operations. You'll be hands-on with configurations, troubleshooting, and optimizations, while also contributing your expertise to strategic planning and enterprise architecture discussions.

You'll take ownership of executing large-scale initiatives, from multi-site implementations to advanced security integrations, ensuring they're delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Leadership, Strategy & Execution

  • Serve as the technical lead for complex network and telecommunications projects, including multi-site implementations, major upgrades, and cloud/network integrations. Act as the highest level of technical escalation for complex issues.

  • Partner with the Global Network Manager to interpret business and technology requirements, recommend enterprise architecture best practices, shape long-term roadmaps, and support investment decisions.

  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors and service providers to perform advanced configuration, deployment, and optimization of enterprise network equipment, security appliances, and hybrid/multi-cloud networking solutions, including secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Maintain deep technical expertise in routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring systems.

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Lead planning and execution of large-scale network initiatives, ensuring milestones are met, risks are managed, and stakeholders are informed.

  • Collaborate with business units to translate operational needs into secure, high-performance, network solutions.

Operations, Mentoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively monitor network performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, leveraging automation, orchestration, AI-enabled monitoring, intelligent troubleshooting capabilities, and analytics to predict and prevent issues.

  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks.

  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network infrastructure.

  • Identify and implement improvements in security, performance, and operational efficiency.

  • Mentor and guide network team members, fostering skill growth and a culture of continuous improvement.

Governance & Standards

  • In collaboration with the Global Network Manager, develop, enforce, and maintain network policies, procedures, and configuration standards in alignment with security requirements, corporate policies, and applicable regulations.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, including cloud networking, automation, AI-assisted operations, and cybersecurity innovations, recommending adoption where appropriate.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 6+ years in network administration.

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Expertise in enterprise routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud networking platforms (Azure/AWS).

  • Strong knowledge of network security frameworks, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting methodologies.

  • Experience collaborating with global teams and managing vendor relationships.

  • Experience with network automation, scripting, orchestration tools, or AI-assisted operational platforms is preferred.

Target Hiring Range

Annual Salary: USD 112,767.00 - USD 155,055.00
