Omada byTP-Link isseekinga highly motivated and experiencedBusiness Development Managerworking in a specific regional US marketto lead our sales efforts across thesecurity, low-voltage, and Pro AV distribution channel.This role is all about building and owning high-impact relationships with partners such asADI,SDS,Wesco/Anixter,Accu-Tech,SilmarElectronics, and Pioneer Music Company.The role is focused ondriving sell-through of ourOmada by TP-Link solutions, networking,wirelessand Security.

You’llact as the face ofOmada byTP-Link within these strategic accounts,leading joint business planning, managing promotions, influencing the line card, and ensuringwe’regetting maximum visibility, commitment, and growth from our partners.

What Your Future Looks Like in This Role:

  • Drive Revenue & Growth:
    Deliver on sales and profitability goals by building committed distributor partnerships that move volume and prioritize TP-Link across product lines.
  • Forecast & Execute:
    Collaborate with partners to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, andeliminategaps — ensuring TP-Link is always ready to ship and ready to win.
  • Launch & Promote:
    Lead channel-specific promotions and product rollouts that keep TP-Link top-of-mind, top-of-line, and on top of the shelf.
  • Collaborate & Influence:
    Work cross-functionally with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to bring channel opportunities to life and drive alignment across teams.
  • Monitor & Report:
    Identify shifts in market trends, pricing, and competitor movement — and turn that intel into action for the business.

WhatYou’llBe Doing:

  • Own and grow revenuethrough key security and low-voltage distributors across the U.S., with a focus on ADI, Wesco/Anixter, KOA,Silmar, and Pioneer Music Company.
  • Develop deep relationships withbuyers, category managers, and regionalsalesleadershipto drive alignment on product strategy and revenue goals.
  • Executejoint business plans, promotions, and product launchesto boost TP-Link’s share of wallet and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct regularQBRs, forecasting sessions, and sales reviewsto ensuresales objectivesare met or exceeded.
  • Building net new customers through, training and education with consultants and installers; maximizingdeal registration, inventory availability, and quoting.
  • Provide product and sales training to distributor sales teams to ensurethey’reenabled and incentivized to sell TP-Link.
  • Collaborate internally withMarketing, Product, and B2B Sales teamsto align distributor activity with broader go-to-market strategy.

What You Bring:

  • 5-7+ years of experienceinchannel sales, distribution, or business developmentwithin thenetworking or surveillance industries. This is a must have.
  • Abachelor’sdegreerequired.
  • Hands-on experience managing key distributorslikeADI, Wesco/Anixter, KOA, Pioneer Music Company,SilmarElectronics, required.This is also a must have.
  • Strong understanding of theB2B market with a 2-tier distribution model(manufacturer -> distributor -> reseller/dealer).
  • Excellentclosing skillswith proven ability to communicate clear‑ly — whetherit’sover the phone, in writing,presenting toleadership, or in a distributor branch.
  • Solidinterpersonal skills, self-motivation, and ownership mindset— youdon’twait forpermission,you drive results.
  • Proficient withMicrosoft Office Suite— especiallyExcel, PowerPoint, and Word— and comfortable usingCRM toolsto track KPIs, pipeline, and account activity.
  • Ability toquickly learn product features and translate them into value for partners and end-users.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability tointerpret sales data,identifytrends, and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Willingness totravel as neededfor onsite distributor meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and events.

Must live in Boston, MA or NE US

Salary range: $120K - $150K annually

(This role includes a base salary and a results‑driven, competitive commission plan. Total on‑target earnings (OTE) are structured as 60% base pay with 40% variable compensation, with additional upside for over‑performance).
