Job description

IT SITE SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Location: US – Wilkes-Barre, PA

Duration: 5 month project based role

Role overview

Morgan’s IT Strategy focuses on enabling business growth, resilience, and innovation through a modern, secure, and data-driven technology ecosystem. It is built around several core principles: modernizing infrastructure and adopting cloud-based platforms to create scalable, flexible digital foundations; embedding security into every layer using a zero-trust approach to protect data and ensure compliance; and simplifying the application landscape to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.

To do so, the OneIT team is currently executing on a strategic roadmap to make significant step changes in IT performance and business value from IT.

The Regional IT Operations team have responsibility for making sure all IT services delight our internal and external customers. Our aim is to maximise the value Morgan business derive from IT services with minimal disruption while delivering as cost effectively as possible.

A Site Support IT Specialist plays a critical execution role in delivering Morgan’s IT Strategy at the ground level—translating strategic pillars into daily operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, maintain, and support modern devices, cloud-connected systems, and network upgrades
  • Assist in reducing legacy systems and improving standardization across sites
  • Enforce security-by-design practices (patching, MFA, endpoint protection, user awareness)
  • Support asset accuracy and compliance activities locally
  • Provide responsive, reliable support aligned to SLAs
  • Drive user satisfaction, self-service adoption, and continuous improvement
  • Support local tools (Power Platform, reporting, integrations)
  • Encourage automation and improved workflows
  • Bridge global IT and local business needs
  • Support digital initiatives (shopfloor tech, collaboration tools)

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, site support, or a related technical role
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving IT issues at the site level
  • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Practical knowledge of IT support processes and tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune is a strong advantage
  • Excellent customer service skills with a user-focused mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective on-site support
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL or equivalent are considered beneficial
