Job description

How you'll have an impact at Paula's Choice:

The Senior Manager, Global Inventory Deployment is critical to the success of Paula's Choice's supply chain organization. The role is responsible for leading a consolidated global team of inventory analysts and managers focused on optimizing finished goods placement across all markets - NA, ANZ, APAC, EU, and UK - while maintaining high service levels across every channel the business operates in and co-owning a significant supply chain transformation agenda.

As a Senior Manager, Global Inventory Deployment, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

  • Consolidate and lead the full global Inventory Deployment function - NAM and International - as the single accountable owner of finished goods placement across all markets and channels
  • Set the global inventory deployment strategy: define global allocation policy, constrained-period decision frameworks, and Supply Signal standards that apply consistently across all markets NAM, ANZ, APAC, EU, and UK
  • Make cross-market allocation decisions that optimize global inventory health simultaneously - not within a single region - owning the commercial consequences of constrained-SKU, NPD launch, and OOS scenarios across 100% of company revenue
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable a consolidated global team: three NAM analysts (direct) and the Manager, International Deployment and their APAC analyst (indirect), building toward a high-performing function with consistent standards and reduced reliance on manager-level intervention for routine decisions
  • Own the integration of Inventory Deployment into the global S&OP process - representing a single, authoritative global inventory voice in consensus and executive tiers, and ensuring deployment constraints are visible and actioned at the planning level
  • Drive the transformation of the Inventory Deployment function from reactive and manual to structured, system-supported, and scalable - leading NetSuite deployment automation, Supply Signal rebuild, global OOS visibility, and SLOB dashboard delivery as primary SME and accountable owner
  • Define and govern global North Star KPIs for inventory deployment - fill rate, in-stock rate, MOS, projected OOS impact, and SLOB exposure by market - and build the reporting infrastructure to make performance visible and actionable across all regions
  • Own daily global inventory execution with commercial rigour: transfer orders, reallocations, misroutes, and stuck orders across all DCs and markets, ensuring inventory is never double-committed and service levels are maintained across every channel
  • Lead the global Supply Signal manual approvals cycle - managing all five approval types across all regions - and partner with Demand Planning to ensure requests reflect accurate channel needs and upstream supply risk is escalated proactively
  • Manage global expiry date and SLOB strategy with a working capital lens, minimizing write-off risk and ensuring constrained inventory is allocated to its highest-value use across all markets
  • Serve as the senior cross-functional partner for all channel leads globally, representing Inventory Deployment with authority in all relevant forums and ensuring allocation decisions reflect commercial priorities, promotional calendars, and channel mix strategies
  • Drive the roadmap to reduce manual platform dependency across the function - consolidating execution across NetSuite, WMS, OPC, Smartsheet, and Power BI into scalable, documented, system-supported processes

The Details:

  • Location: While candidates local to Seattle are preferred, we're also considering candidates that are fully remote within the US
  • Hours: Typical PST business hours with flexibility required as business needs dictate
  • Physical requirements: Ability to handle long periods of both sitting and screen time
  • Travel requirements: Up to 20%

What you'll bring to the table:

  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, inventory management, or inventory deployment in a multi-channel, multi-market consumer goods or beauty environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing inventory across DTC, marketplace (Amazon, multi-market), wholesale/retail, and international channels simultaneously
  • Prior experience leading a multi-person team, including management of other managers or senior analysts; experience managing across geographies a strong advantage
  • Experience working within ERP systems operationally (NetSuite strongly preferred); exposure to ERP implementation or automation projects an advantage
  • Advanced Excel proficiency; Power BI or equivalent BI tool experience for operational reporting
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or equivalent tracker-based tools - and a clear intent to drive the organization away from manual workarounds toward system-native and/or AI solutions
  • Master's degree - Business or Supply Chain preferred
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification a plus

Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:

$130,000 - $145,000 USD/annually
