The Opportunity

Abbott's Electrophysiology business is dedicated to restoring health and improving quality of life through innovative, devicebased solutions for patients with complex cardiac conditions. This role sits within Abbott's LAA (Left Atrial Appendage) Management Franchise, focused on driving sustainable franchise growth through bestinclass downstream execution and strong upstream pipeline development.

As Senior Global Marketing Manager, LAA Management Franchise, you will serve as the global commercial leader for Abbott's Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Management portfolio and act as the Global Launch Lead for Amulet 360. In this highly visible role, you will shape franchise strategy, drive global commercialization, and lead cross-functional teams to accelerate adoption, market penetration, and long-term growth.

This position sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will partner closely with regional commercial teams, R&D, clinical, medical affairs, market access, and executive leadership to deliver exceptional business results while helping define the future direction of the LAA Management franchise.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a strategically important growth franchise with direct visibility to senior leadership and significant influence on both near-term business results and long-term portfolio strategy.

This position is based on site in Austin, TX or Plymouth, MN within Abbott's Electrophysiology Division.

What You'll Work On

Franchise & Commercial Marketing Leadership

  • Lead development and execution of the global marketing strategy for Abbott's LAA Management franchise.
  • Drive sustainable growth by identifying opportunities to expand procedure adoption, increase market share, and accelerate revenue performance.
  • Serve as global LAA Management therapy and product expert, including market size, competitive dynamics, unmet customer needs, and product differentiation.
  • Own franchise performance by partnering with regional commercial teams to deliver against revenue, adoption, and market share objectives.
  • Operate with a general manager mindset, balancing short-term commercial performance with long-term franchise growth and portfolio development.

Global Launch Ownership - Amulet 360

  • Serve as Global Launch Owner with endtoend launch accountability for launch strategy, readiness, execution, and post-launch performance.
  • Develop value propositions, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market plans.
  • Establish launch success metrics and drive continuous optimization, including minimization of global distressed inventory for existing product portfolio.

Lifecycle Management & Portfolio Development

  • Lead franchise lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Influence upstream product development through customer and market insights.
  • Drive business cases, forecast assumptions, and investment recommendations to maximize franchise growth and return on commercial investments.

Franchise Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence

  • Act as the single-threaded marketing leader for the global LAA Management franchise.
  • Influence and align cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, clinical, medical affairs, market access, R&D, and finance.
  • Build organizational capability and establish scalable processes to support future franchise growth and team expansion.

Required Qualifications - Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in product marketing, product management, or upstream marketing.
  • Medical device experience required; cardiovascular or electrophysiology preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving commercial performance, franchise growth, and successful product launches.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a global matrix organization.
  • Experience supporting global product launches.
  • Travel: Approximately 25-30%, including global
