Global Innovation Project Manager

Location: Hackensack, NJ

Schedule: Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week

Lead Complex Global Projects and Drive Meaningful Impact

We are partnering with a growing, private equity-backed consumer products organization seeking a Global Innovation Project Manager to join its supply chain leadership team.

This is a highly visible role supporting a globally recognized portfolio of products. The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and entrepreneurial, offering the opportunity to help build and improve processes while leading critical initiatives across innovation, business continuity, compliance, and commercialization efforts.

This is not a traditional project management role focused only on product launches. The person in this role will manage a broad portfolio of initiatives, work cross-functionally across the organization, and help drive projects from concept through execution.

If you enjoy influencing teams, solving complex problems, and taking ownership in an environment where priorities evolve, this could be an excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Lead and manage a portfolio of global and regional innovation, compliance, and business continuity projects

โ€ข Drive multiple initiatives simultaneously, including commercialization efforts, portfolio changes, and supply chain projects

โ€ข Develop project plans, timelines, key milestones, and execution strategies

โ€ข Coordinate project activities from ideation through launch and implementation

โ€ข Lead weekly project meetings and communicate status updates to key stakeholders

โ€ข Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and proactively resolve issues across teams

โ€ข Partner closely with supply chain, marketing, operations, finance, R&D, and leadership teams

โ€ข Influence and align stakeholders across functions, even without direct reporting authority

โ€ข Help create and improve project management processes as the organization continues to evolve

โ€ข Balance both strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-changing environment

Qualifications

โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or a related field

โ€ข 5+ years of experience in supply chain, project management, product development, strategic planning, or related areas

โ€ข Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving projects through execution

โ€ข Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, PMP preferred

โ€ข Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

โ€ข Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

โ€ข Financial and business acumen with the ability to support business decisions

โ€ข Experience working with complex product portfolios or commercialization initiatives preferred

โ€ข Consumer products experience is helpful, but candidates from other industries with transferable project leadership experience are encouraged to apply

What Makes Someone Successful Here

โ€ข Self-starter with an ownership mentality

โ€ข Comfortable operating in environments that are evolving and changing

โ€ข Strong influencer who can lead without direct authority

โ€ข Solutions-oriented and accountable

โ€ข Adaptable, curious, and able to navigate ambiguity

โ€ข Roll-up-your-sleeves mindset with a high bias toward execution

Why Consider This Opportunity

โ€ข High visibility within a growing organization

โ€ข Opportunity to build and improve processes rather than simply maintain them

โ€ข Significant cross-functional exposure and collaboration

โ€ข Ability to directly impact innovation and business performance

โ€ข Hybrid work environment with limited travel requirements
