Manager, Nonprofit Advising, Partner Solutions – Global Impact    About You    As a Manager on our Non-profit Advising team, you are a strategic thinker and project manager with proven experience developing strategies to help non-profit organizations diversify revenue and raise significant funds from foundations, corporations, and/or HNWIs.   The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising, consulting, and project management and is ready to take the next step in their career.   We’re seeking a candidate who demonstrates:  * Ability to think strategically to develop innovative solutions related to help our clients increase or diversify their private fundraising revenue  * Impeccable project management skills to lead multiple client-based workstreams and respond to ad hoc requests      * Critical thinking and analytical skills to provide best in class project deliverables for clients      * Willingness to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and implement action plans to ensure clients meet their revenue and programmatic goals   * Strong writing and editing skills and exceptional attention to detail to “polish” internal and external-facing deliverables and proposals   * Solid team and people management skills and/or project-based team management responsibilities.     The Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of nonprofit and private sector engagements. Serving as a strategic lead on client engagements, you will communicate with clients on a regular basis and will work to reach agreed upon revenue and programmatic goals. In collaboration with Senior Team Members, the Manager will lead non-profit advisorybusiness development efforts to achieve agreed upon team financial goals. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and exciting client portfolio and with colleagues across complementary teams with skill sets to influence philanthropy. The work is fast-paced, and the culture is conducive for growth.   Responsibilities  Client Management    * Simultaneously manage multiple client projects related to non-profit fundraising and donor management, including directing deliverables, budget, and day to day interactions with clients   * Provide best-in-class strategy and implementation services as it relates to non-profit fundraising, implementation, and donor management to ensure clients reach revenue and programmatic goals   * Support targeted marketing/value proposition efforts for nonprofit clients, including development of communications strategy (both digital and social media strategy).    * Lead deliverables on client accounts including internal and external analyses (prospect research, benchmarking, strategic planning for fundraising and the organization, marketing plans, staffing, and board assessments).   * As needed, provide grants management services for private sector and donor collaborative clients   Business Development     * Maintain, support and grow Partner Solutions business development opportunities including through networking at events, word of mouth, charity.org inquiries, in pursuit of an agreed upon financial goal  * Develop proposals and manage the contracting process with potential clients    * Develop collateral and pitch materials for potential clients.   * Play a lead role in thought leadership, including writing blogs and providing support for conferences, key meetings, and events   People Management     * Manage the recruitment process of new Associate and Manager positions  * Support new team member onboarding   * Serve as a mentor and thought partner for Associate-level staff   * Potential for future supervisory responsibilities as the team expands  Qualifications    * A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university  * 5-7 years' experience in fundraising and development with proven ability to develop strategy and implementation plans to secure funding. Preference given for HNWI and foundation fundraising.  * High- level project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously   * Experience providing grants management services to private sector, foundation and donor collaboratives   * Ability to manage, coach, and upskill junior staff   * Knowledge of key nonprofit sectors including, but not limited to,international development, global health, education, and human services, and the ability to build relationships within key sectors  * Strong critical thinking and analytical skills  * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing  * Evidence of strong interpersonal communication and relationship management abilities   * Ability to develop and manage team processes      About The Non-profit Advising Team     We are Global Impact’s non-profit fundraising consulting team.
