Job description

The role

This is a transformative moment for the semiconductor industry and every device it powers. As intelligence, efficiency, and materials innovation redefine what is possible, the experiences ASM create matter more than ever. We're looking for a Global Events Specialist with 4-6 years of experience who will play a critical role in bringing ASM's brand, technology leadership, and corporate narrative to life through global, world-class events.

We are looking for a highly organized teammate, passionate about executing events that build meaningful connections with customers, partners, and within our ASM colleagues and community. This person will ensure flawless execution of internal and external events, including conferences, industry shows, public announcements, and employee celebrations. Reporting to the global lead of External Communications and Events, you will oversee the execution of ASM's global event and conference portfolio in partnership with the Marketing and Communications team. This is a visible role that demands comfort working directly with senior leadership and thriving within a truly diverse company. You will work across cultures, time zones, and regions to bring our most impactful events to life worldwide.

We're looking for someone who will deliver flawlessly executed, premium experiences that reflect ASM's brand. Every event you orchestrate should feel intentional, memorable, and distinctly ASM. If you're passionate about bringing concepts to life, managing every detail with care and precision, and continuously raising the bar for attendee experience, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Lead the logistics, planning and execution of a portfolio of global events each year, from collaborative ideation, execution, through post-event evaluation.
  • Rigorous project management of multiple events simultaneously across different stages of planning and execution, keeping each on track while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Planning includes detailed project plans, timelines, production schedules, and event run-of-shows.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with global vendors, including venues, production, AV, transportation providers, and agencies, ensuring high-quality delivery, cost efficiency, and seamless event execution.
  • Manage onsite operations at select events and serve as the primary logistics lead.
  • Ensure operational excellence across all events through risk mitigation, and contingency planning and ensuring compliance with procurement, contracting, and finance processes.
  • Track and manage event budgets. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Implement best practices, templates, tools, and governance processes to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience managing large-scale corporate events, conferences, or global meetings.
  • Flawless project management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing international events with 50-300+ attendees.
  • Experience managing complex event budgets and vendor negotiations.
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 25%).
  • Experience supporting executive-level meetings and events and experience working in a global and/or B2B technology environment - is a plus.
