This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of our Phoenix office.

Silicon Valley Bank's Global Fund Banking (GFB) Team provides commercial banking services to venture capital and private equity firms. The Portfolio Management team is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of loan advances and paydowns as well as compliance reporting documentation review.
Responsibilities
The Global Fund Banking Portfolio Management Analyst I is responsible for executing risk management controls for the Global Fund Banking lending portfolio. Core responsibilities include ensuring borrower compliance and availability for straight-forward loan advances, timely tracking and review of expected statements from borrowers, and other loan maintenance tasks. Performs client outreach for advance and payment status updates and request clarifications. Coordinates approval from Senior Credit Officers for draws requested from uncommitted balances. Navigates a comprehensive set of procedures, accurately identifying and executing correct protocol for each situation. This role includes regular interaction with multiple Global Fund Banking teams as well as many other Business Partners throughout the bank.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 1 year of professional office/banking experience or High School diploma/GED with 2 years of experience
Preferred:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis in SharePoint Online - experience pulling and analyzing data for reporting purposes
  • Proficient in navigating and applying procedural frameworks, able to escalate issues and follow-up appropriately
  • Strong organization and analytical skills in addition to the ability to work independently
  • Strong critical thinking, proactive and desire to collaborate with team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with business partners, leadership and clients on email and phone
  • Can develop strong working relationships with internal teams
  • Strong ability to multi-task job functions on high volume days, attention to detail
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments
