Job description

EEC Solutions is looking for a Future Operations Specialist (Senior Planner) to support a possible upcoming contract at the Marine Corps Support Facility, located in New Orleans, LA.

Job Description

This position is in charge of supporting the G-35 Future Operations Division in the management, coordination, and execution of Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) operational planning. This position focuses on Force Management process and Global Force Management (GFM). It ensures the compliance of MARFORRES programs and associated capabilities via policy compliance, program management, and mission assurance in accordance with DOD, Department of the Navy (DoN), and USMC policies, procedures, standards, and benchmarks. Lastly, it provides guidance to Major Subordinate Commands (MSC) and feedback to COMMARFORRES.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Directly support the G35 Future Operations Division to establish and administer Marine Corps strategic and operational programs, projects, and actions.
  • Conduct daily liaison between HQMC Plans, Policies, and Operations (PP&O), MARFORRES AC/S G3/5, Deputy G3/5, G35 Future Operations Officer, G3/5 Section Heads, and MSCs.
  • Employ indepth knowledge of MCPP, JPP, and JELC to conduct program management decision support actions for the Future Operations Division.
  • Develop and staff EXORDs, PLANORDs, OPORDs, and LOIs to execute operational planning and decision support for Global Force Management (GFM) tasks.
  • Manage the G35 portion of the Force Management process; coordinate GFM requirements.
  • Support development of Marine Corps mobilization plans, processes, procedures, and policies in support of enterpriselevel programs/initiatives.
  • Assist and advise the G35 Division Head in campaign development, deliberate and longrange operational planning, DoD policy, and service/jointlevel future readiness requirements.
  • Conduct reviews and propose updates to applicable orders, directives, and policies governing operations.
  • Assist the Department in task management utilizing ETMS2 and AMHS.
  • Provide planning support through attendance at operations, exercise, and theater security cooperation (TSC) planning conferences; prepare and present briefings as required.
  • Minimun Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree; MANDATORY Graduate of SAW, SAMS, MAWS, or SAASS is required.
  • 10+ years of military operational planning experience is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MCPP, JPP, and JELC is required.
  • Active SECRET clearance is required.
  • AWS graduation certificate verification and active Secret clearance verification required prior to offer.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    Service Component (2-3 Star) or higher HQ experience; proficiency in ETMS2 and AMHS.
