Job description

Sales Enablement Specialist
Location: Anywhere in the continental US, with the ability to travel (no more than monthly for company summits, conferences, and account site visits).
Join our mission to transform elementary math! We're looking for a Sales Enablement Specialist who is passionate about helping our Sales team bring our curriculum to schools across the country. We need a strategist with the sales instincts to effectively partner with our sales executives; a creator who will deliver strong materials and messaging grounded in data and market insights; and a builder who can collaborate on processes and systems that scale for the future.
Our vision
Welcome to Beast Classroom, where students delight in mathematical challenge - playing games, solving puzzles, and exploring rigorous content that demands flexible, creative thinking; where teachers are energized and empowered to teach math; where principals stop by and smile at the signs of a budding math culture; and where there is no ceiling for math excellence.
Our mission
At Beast, we're on a mission to bring this experience to teachers in elementary schools everywhere. We're building Beast Classroom, a K-5 math curriculum based on the beloved Beast Academy comic universe and the rigorous Art of Problem Solving pedagogy that has trained the world's top math students for a generation.
Why we need you
We have the foundational pieces in place: a pedagogy rooted in deep problem-solving, a growing community of early-adopter educators, and mission-aligned backers. We've built a talented team on a foundation of transparency, trust, and deep care.
We are driven to achieve our mission with students and teachers across the country, and are working to dramatically grow our revenue and reach in the coming years. This requires a modern, mature sales organization with a strong enablement function. We need a Sales Enablement Specialist who will sit alongside our sales executives as a thought partner; who can anticipate what's coming in a complex deal and deliver necessary materials; and who can bring these experiences across the team into cohesive suggestions for improving our approach to capture bigger deals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will:
  • Be a true partner to sales: Build close, trusted relationships with our sales executives. Show up as a thought partner in their deals, and let those relationships shape what you build and prioritize.
  • Advise and refine our sales motion: Contribute deal-specific materials and strategic input, with a cohesive view that regularly improves our playbooks.
  • Grow beyond enablement: Contribute to sales training, conference management, and other projects as needed.
  • Build our knowledge repository: Iterate on key sales collateral, including presentations, emails, infographics, data reports, and other materials you will propose and implement. Use data, deal patterns, and what you're hearing from reps to prioritize what to build next.
  • Drive efficiency, speed, and scale: Identify repetitive or inefficient workflows in our sales and enablement processes, and take the initiative to resolve them.
  • Stay sharp on market and product: Actively track the educational market landscape to help our team anticipate important opportunities and upcoming challenges. Stay current on internal product and curriculum changes so our materials remain relevant and accurate.

Who you are
  • You build relationships easily and genuinely. You earn trust through consistency and thoughtfulness, and you use that trust to get to what a rep or a deal actually needs, not just what was asked for.
  • You measure your own success by what the team delivers, and you're motivated by helping others shine.
  • You're proactive by nature. You evaluate your options, take a stand when asked, and bring ideas forward.
  • You're a strong communicator, but what drives you is getting to the real need quickly, then executing with precision and care.
  • You're creative and analytical, driven to build with purpose and data, but you enjoy the craft and bring flair to what you make.
  • You're organized and can manage priorities, but know that flexibility is key when a team is moving quickly.

All candidates must have:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree. We care more about how you think and communicate than your specific major.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a role where you partnered closely with a team to help them succeed, such as sales enablement, front-line sales, marketing, revenue operations, program management, or adjacent roles.
  • Communication skills: You know what to say, and how to say it impactfully across channels (both written and verbal). You pay attention to every detail to ensure your message is compelling.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with office productivity tools (we use Google Workspace); familiarity with common design tools (we use Canva); and experience with a CRM system (we use Salesforce). You may also have experience with sales analytics, call recording and email tools, and forecasting or projection processes.

Exceptional candidates may have:
  • Strong vision and initiative: You've built something from 0 to 1 on your own initiative because you saw the need. You're excited to do that again without having to be asked.
  • Education experience: You have worked in a company selling into the education market, and understand how to approach a sales process with educators and administrators.
  • Training experience: You've developed or delivered sales training, with an eye toward building repeatable, scalable processes rather than one-off fixes.
  • Operational scaling experience: You've lived in the fluid world of a small company and brought order to it. You've used your flexible, creative skills and modern tools like AI to build impactful tools and processes.

Additional information about the position:
  • Work authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 + equity
  • Key benefits: Private health, dental, vision, and life insurance; paid time off, including a winter holiday shutdown; 401K plan; flexibility-first culture.
