The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, experience with global compensation programs, and a hands-on approach to benefits administration and HR operations. This position reports directly to the Chief People Officer and is based in New York City. The role requires 5 days per week in-office.
Responsibilities Partner with managers and HR Business Partners on compensation frameworks, programs, and pay decisions Conduct compensation benchmarking and support annual performance review cycles, ensuring decisions are market-aligned and data-driven Build and maintain analytical models and reporting tools to support rewards strategy and executive decision-making Translate compensation and workforce data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership Manage day-to-day benefits administration and serve as a resource for employees regarding benefit plans, vendors, and processes Educate new hires on compensation philosophy, benefits, and rewards programs Administer global benefits programs through external partners and brokers while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations Maintain HRIS data integrity, reporting, and analytics across HR systems Support ongoing process improvements and scaling initiatives within the People function Qualifications 5–7 years of relevant experience in compensation, rewards, HR analytics, or related fields Experience with compensation consulting and/or compensation analytics strongly preferred Knowledge of global compensation practices, including: Base salary structures Variable incentive programs Equity grants and refresh strategies Sales incentive plans Advanced Excel and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and create meaningful insights Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities Broad knowledge of U.S. HR principles, policies, and employee benefits; exposure to UK and/or Israel benefits programs is a plus Experience with benefits administration preferred Strong communication and executive presentation skills Self-starter mentality with a proactive and accountable approach to work Vaco by Highspring values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
