Our brands- Spring Step, L'Artiste, Patrizia, Azura, Flexus, and our growing retail division Spring Step Shoes - stand at the intersection of creativity, comfort, and global appeal. Today, we're writing our next chapter of growth and are seeking a Marketing Director who can amplify our voice, elevate our presence, and steer our marketing engine into the future.
This is a role for the visionary. The builder. The leader who thrives in motion and brings teams, brands, and consumers together through powerful storytelling and digital mastery.
THE ROLE
As the Director of Marketing, you will command the full marketing ecosystem of Spring Footwear -B2B, B2C, Retail, Marketplace, Creative, Digital, and Social. You'll shape narratives, architect growth strategies, and fuel demand across seven distinct brands and multiple channels.
With a strong digital backbone and a sharp understanding of U.S. consumer culture, you'll guide strategy, execution, and performance, driving results that echo across wholesale partners, ecommerce platforms, social media, and our expanding retail footprint.
You'll lead a talented team - including Ecommerce, Marketplace, Creative, and Photo Studio - and build out our social media discipline by hiring a Social Media Manager.
This position reports directly to the CEO.
WHAT YOU'LL LEAD
Brand Strategy & Architecture
  • Steward a multi-brand portfolio and bring clarity, personality, and alignment to each brand's voice and market position.
  • Build cohesive, resonant storytelling across platforms and audiences.

Digital Leadership
  • Drive performance marketing, SEO/SEM, paid media, social commerce, and digital acceleration.
  • Lead strategies that grow traffic, conversion, acquisition, and lifetime value.
  • Partner closely with Ecommerce leadership on product, promotions, and growth levers.

Creative Direction
  • Oversee all visual output-photography, design, catalogs, digital assets, POP, trade show visuals.
  • Ensure craftsmanship and brand consistency in every touchpoint.

Social Media & Influencer Strategy
  • Architect our social voice and presence across all brands.
  • Develop and launch influencer, talent, and creator partnerships that amplify reach and relevancy.

Retail, Ecommerce & Marketplace Activation
  • Guide Shopify (B2C) strategy and storefront experience.
  • Lead Marketplace brand presence across Amazon, Macy's, Walmart, and more.
  • Ensure alignment and asset excellence with key wholesale partners (QVC, DSW, Kohl's, etc.).

Sales & B2B Support
  • Elevate sales meetings with powerful materials, storytelling, and brand assets.
  • Shape seasonal line sheets, catalogs, and wholesale-facing content.

PR, Events & Brand Visibility
  • Drive press, partnerships, collaborations, and experiential marketing that brings the brand to life.

Team Leadership
  • Inspire, develop, and empower a high-performing team across digital, creative, content, marketplace, and social.
  • Recruit and mentor new talent, including our Social Media Manager.

WHO YOU ARE
You're a strategist with the heart of a storyteller and the instincts of a builder. You read culture intuitively, spot opportunities early, and push brands into conversations where they belong. You think holistically, act decisively, and bring out the best in the people around you.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in marketing within fashion, footwear, lifestyle, or luxury.
  • Demonstrated success leading digital-first strategies in the U.S. market.
  • Strong command of social media, influencer ecosystems, paid media, SEO/SEM, and ecommerce.
  • Experience managing creative teams and external agencies.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
  • Experience working within an international, multicultural structure is a plus.
