This role establishes global standards, taxonomy principles, and governance models to support alignment, efficiency, and brand consistency, while regional omnichannel teams retain responsibility for content execution, localization, and deployment. This position operates as a strategic architect and cross-functional integrator, partnering with regional and content leads, platform owners, medical, and marketing stakeholders to enable adoption of global frameworks and continuous improvement in content lifecycle processes. Working closely with Global, US and EUCAN content leads and editorial teams, the Strategist will drive alignment and continuous improvement in global content governance, workflows, and performance measurement.

This role establishes structured content standards and best practices that enable consistency and scalability across markets, while regional omnichannel teams retain ownership of execution and localization. As a key partner in advancing Daiichi Sankyo's omnichannel strategy, the Strategist will support connected, personalized engagement across digital and field channels by fostering collaboration and promoting scalable content practices that balance global consistency with regional flexibility. ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy, Governance, and Adoption:Define and evolve the global content governance standards, modularization principles to enable alignment and scalability across regions.Establish global guidelines for structures content design, reuse, and lifecycle management in partnership with regional teams.Collaborate with regional omnichannel leads to align global frameworks with local regulatory requirements and business priorities.Partner cross-functionally to gather insights and continuously refine content standards based on performance and market feedback.Functional Management:Serve as the global governance lead for a centralized content repository, defining standards that support accessibility, organization, and alignment across markets.Define and maintain taxonomy and metadata frameworks to improve content discoverability and scalability across marketsPartner with digital and IT on global DAM configuration and governance to ensure alignment with content standards, compliance requirements, and business needs.Define and evolve content lifecycle standards and processes in collaboration with regional stakeholders.Innovation and Scale:Enable scalable personalization through modular content strategies, in partnership with data and technology teams.Establish scalable content creation and reuse frameworks that drive efficiency and consistency across markets.QualificationsSuccessful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.Education Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree degree in Marketing, Business, or other related area requiredMaster of Library and Information Science (MLIS), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferredExperience Qualifications:10 or More Years overall related experience required7 or More Years experience in global omnichannel marketing, content management, operations, or governance requiredExpertise in end-to-end content lifecycle management, including creation, approval, and reuse preferredProven ability to design and operationalize modular content strategies that enable personalization preferredStrong governance, policy, and compliance management capabilities preferredDeep understanding of metadata structures, taxonomy frameworks, and DAM platform best practices including rights management for multimedia assets; Veeva PromoMats experience preferred preferredIn-depth understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other Global standards preferredDemonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional global and EUCAN teams preferredExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across diverse functions preferredExperience with rights management preferred4 or More Years Pharmaceuticals Experience including Sales, Marketing, IT or Market Access Leadership or other related area preferred Travel Requirements:Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.Daiichi Sankyo, Inc.
