About this role:
The Sr. Director, Sales Learning and Development, Global Conferences is accountable for the effective design and delivery of training programs for Sales Leaders. This individual acts as a champion for Leaders success - actively partnering with the GSSO, HR and Sales leadership to develop and drive adoption of learning strategies and programs across Gartner Global Conference Sales.
What you will lead:
  • Serve as Program Manager for all sales leadership programs - curate, design, develop, and deliver innovative training programs tailored for Sales Directors & Managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sales strategies.

  • Partner with Sales leadership to assess learning needs, gather feedback, and ensure training initiatives address critical skill gaps

  • Drive adoption and engagement of learning programs across Gartner Global Conference Sales through effective communication, change management, and stakeholder collaboration.

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of training programs using feedback, performance metrics, and industry best practices.

  • Measure the impact of learning initiatives on sales leader performance and business outcomes, reporting results to senior management.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and excellence within the sales organization.

  • Develop and manage a calendar of learning events, workshops, and ongoing development opportunities for Sales Leaders.

What you will need:
  • Recent success as a Gartner sales associate and leader.

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Education, Business, or related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience as a successful sales leader within Gartner is a must.

  • Preferred experience in sales learning and development, sales enablement, or related field, with a proven track record of designing and delivering successful training programs for sales teams.

  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional projects.

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to analyze data, assess program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience with digital learning platforms and tools preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and drive change across diverse teams.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 136,000 USD - 189,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
