Audio-Visual Manager
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Audio-Visual Manager. In this role, you will manage the operations of the Audio-Visual department. The Audio-Visual Manager will partner with Convention Sales to produce proposals and bids based on client and event requirements, operating in a "for-profit" environment as well, to ensure guest service exceeds expectations.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll deliver seamless, high-quality technology experiences that support meetings, conferences, and events throughout the resort and convention center. By ensuring reliable equipment, expert technical support, and smooth event execution, you'll enhance both the guest experience and associates' ability to deliver exceptional service.
Salary Range- $65,000-$80,000/year
Key Responsibilities
  • AV Equipment/Inventory Management - Ensuring all AV equipment is maintained, operational, and ready for us during events. This includes sound systems, projectors, lighting, and video conferencing tools.
  • Collaborating with event planners, clients, and staff to understand AV needs for each event, ensuring seamless integration of technology.
  • Providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality service is delivered to guests.

What We're Looking For
  • We do require that you have a background, consisting of at least two years of AV Management experience in a significant convention center or large hotel (over 500 room property).
  • A bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in fields like audio-visual technology, communications, or related disciplines is desired but not required.
  • Expertise in AV Equipment - In-depth knowledge of AV systems, including sound, video, lighting, projection, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Networking Knowledge, understanding of how AV systems integrate with IT infrastructure and networking systems.
