Job description

Job Summary:
Washes all dishware, glassware, pots/pans and utensils according to Whiskey Creek standards. Re-stocks all items in the correct locations. Does whatever it takes to help the team provide the highest quality and greatest value to our guests.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Accomplishes their job with a positive attitude.
  • Checks restrooms, sweeps and mops floor surfaces.
  • Scrapes and sprays dishes, glassware and silverware. Places dishes in appropriate racks and runs them through the dishwasher. Then checks them for quality prior to stocking.
  • Set-up the presoaking of silverware prior to washing.
  • Washes any item by hand as required.
  • Controls service ware breakage and silverware loss.
  • Stocks all areas with clean dishware, glassware, pots/pans and utensils.
  • Empties and cleans trash receptacles on a regular basis.
  • Completes assigned back-up duties as required.
  • Wears appropriate uniform and maintains appearance according to Whiskey Creek dress code.

Qualification Standards:
  • Ability to take verbal directions.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50+ pounds of dishware, trash, and supplies several times throughout shift. Must be able to stock, reach high shelves and stoop to lower shelving, while lifting up to 20+ pounds.
  • Frequent bending and lifting.
  • Frequent immersion of hands in water.
  • Ability to operate brooms and mops.
  • Works frequently in a hot, damp environment.
  • Need basic reading skills to read chemical labels and operating instructions on equipment.
  • Ability to learn and follow good sanitation and safety practices required of the food service industry.
  • Friendly personality required to properly interact with fellow team members.
  • Previous experience preferred.
