Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics - Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a WSK/WSH Packer - 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am). Overtime is available as needed.
Job Summary:
Packing Surface Mount resistors into reels or bulk packages including any of the following product types - WSL, WSLM, WSK, WSC, WSF, and WSH product types.
Job Location:
Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world's largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.
What you will be doing:
  • Operates two packing machines, weigh scale, bar code printer and mainframe terminal.
  • Set up computer to packing and testing specifications noted on production card.
  • Set counters.
  • Run out leader tape.
  • Places resistors into syntron bowl (Test pack or Tokyo Weld machines) or load resistor sticks to table (stick to tape machines).
  • Starts machine by pressing keyboard button.
  • Operates machine until the quantity desired is packed.
  • Runs out carrier tape tail to wind around end of reel.
  • Removes finished reel from machine.
  • If order quantity requires more than what is on reel, operator goes through previous procedures.

What you will bring along:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months manufacturing experience
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
