Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

     Communicates with and assist food servers to maintain service efficiency and ensures guest satisfaction. Maintains cleanliness and restocks the front house area, removes dirty dishes, silverware, and utensils to dish washing area. May assist waitstaff in serving tables with beverages. Will learn to expedite orders.

Tasks

  1. Greet guest at tables and fills water glasses
  2. Must clear tables with speed and efficiency and be able to keep the noise level at a minimum when doing so. Hokey floor.
  3. Clear used plates from tables, re-water, re-tea, re-coffee. Restock dining room with plate ware, silverware, glassware, and maintains adequate supplies in the workstations. Restock ice in the stations and may help restock ice in bar.
  4. Must communicate with other staff, especially the other server assistants while busy. Communicates with wait staff, host/hostess or manager to maintain service efficiency and ensure guest satisfaction
  5. Return dirty dishes to dish station, scraping and sorting dishes, glassware, silverware and other items placing them in prescribed area.
  6. Always maintains cleanliness of the restaurant. Change out sanitizer buckets through out shift using the Qt-40 strips
  7. Performs opening and closing duties as scheduled.
  8. Make set-ups or roll silverware/must polish all silverware and glassware
  9. Must comply with all safety precautions and procedures.
  10. comply with Arizona Health Department codes and standards along with our in-house Food Safety Plan.

Pre-Requisites: Must have an Arizona Food Handlers Card. Must have slip resistant shoes.

Experience: No previous experience required.

Physical: Must be able to stand and exert fast pace mobility for period up to 8 hours (with a break) lift, bend and have the ability to lift and carry tubs, trays and other objects weighing up to 25 pounds or more.
