Job description

Leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Civil Engineer for their Orlando, Florida team!



Responsibilities:

  • Manage small to medium projects and engineering tasks
  • Prepare/review designs and specifications for civil projects
  • Prepare/review construction documents and permit submittals
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines (architects and engineers, landscape architects and surveyors)
  • Document design changes/communications
  • Assist with the management of project delivery, invoicing, and financial performance
  • Assist with the development of scope, budget, and schedule for new projects and tasks
  • Build/maintain client relationships
  • Negotiate with permitting authorities
  • Conduct on-site inspections as needed
  • Review construction submittals/requests for information

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or related field, from an EAC/ABET accredited program
  • 5+ years of relevant design or construction experience
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam passed preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Proficient in Hydrology/hydraulic software, (Stormwise ICPR software, stormcad, etc.)
  • Proficient in Stormwater Quality/Nutrient removal modeling (BMPTrains Software, etc.) preferred
  • GIS software including ESRI, all levels preferred



Salary is commensurate with experience.
