Job Description

AECOM is seeking a GIS Pipeline Mapper for our Houston, TX office location.  This will be a hybrid position.  Some of the responsibilities would include:

  • Position will be responsible for GIS Mapping and Analysis for pipeline design data and data management using ArcGIS Online
  • Independently execute and deliver GIS projects of moderate to significant scope and complexity
  • May direct the work of Level I and II GIS Specialists. Responsibilities could include overall project or task management.  
  • Design and programming of databases for each project.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision. 
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS +4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro 3.x
  • Experience in Pipeline map creation and Spatial Analysis
  • Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience with Map series/Mapbook creation
  • ArcGIS Online Publishing, Map creation, & App creation in Experience Builder or similar web GIS system.
  • Experience with FME Forms, BlueSky Lightning pipeline software, Bluebeam PDF software, Global Mapper, and Microsoft Teams
