Your Role at Sephora:

As Analyst, Real Estate Strategy & Analytics, you'll be a pivotal contributor, leveraging advanced analytical methodologies and innovative tools to drive strategic real estate decisions. The work you do will impact beauty, as you conduct in-depth geo-spatial analysis, comprehensive market research, and precise site-specific sales forecasts to fuel a robust brick-and-mortar expansion pipeline. You'll be a fundamental partner that's united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about expanding Sephora's presence in the US and Canada, directly influencing our market growth and brand footprint.
What You'll Do:
  • Sales & Cannibalization Forecasting: Develop accurate sales and cannibalization forecasts for new store opportunities. Utilize analog sales data, sales forecasting models, traffic data, and hindsight reports to inform sales and cannibalization forecasts. Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to better understand sales drivers, competitors, and industry trends. Prepare research-related materials for monthly Real Estate Committee.
  • Market Analysis & Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential retail locations and emerging market trends. Analyze demographic data, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to inform site selection in US and Canada. Present compelling findings and strategic recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Ad Hoc Analyses & Special Projects: Provide analytical support on ad hoc and special projects as needed for real estate and cross-functional teams.
  • Tool/Process Creation & Optimization: Further develop sales forecasting and market evaluation tools, processes, and best practices for Sephora's store pipeline.

What You'll Bring:
  • 2-3 years of real estate or retail experience (with a demonstrated ability in retail expansion, spatial analytics, sales forecasting, modeling, and/or market research).
  • Business, Finance, Statistics, or similar. Advanced in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Proficient in MapInfo Pro, ESRI, or comparable GIS applications.
  • Experience with SQL and/or PowerBI preferred.
  • Strong analytical and reporting experience/skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Superior written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude with an ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Highly comfortable with navigating ambiguity and large data sets from multiple sources.
  • Detail-oriented and resourceful when assessing challenging situations. Works well autonomously and as a team player.
  • Proactive, innovative, and results-oriented self-starter.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

The annual base salary range for this position is $102.000,00 - $114.750,00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of five days.
