Position Summary:
The Fiscal Support Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of fiscal support personnel within an assigned department or program. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), state and federal laws and institution policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Fiscal support supervisor responsible for all budget and accounting issues across all departments in the college; reviews, verifies, and approves all budget related documents submitted to the budget office
  • Maintains faculty and staff computer inventory
  • Works with three ITS staff assigned to CLAC to collect quotes for purchasing computers
  • Supports ITS staff with maintaining classroom inventory records; initiates process for purchasing computers for all computer labs and classrooms in HSS, Fine Arts, ED/COMM, Fowler, Art Annex
  • Supports all units with Taleo
  • Reviews and verifies all Extra Compensation Forms and EPAFs
  • Facilitates allocation of professional development funds
  • Oversees all Foundation Accounts
  • Prepares budget spreadsheet for graduate assistants for the college
  • Facilitates expenditures of academic capital funds
  • Provides support for departments with AOS revenue sharing accounts
  • Provides budget support and performs other selected fiscal processing duties to support Printing Services
  • Develops reports requested by AAR for the college:
    • Auxiliary/Special Funding Budgets
    • Infrastructure Spending Report
    • Merit Recommendations
    • Summer Instruction requests
    • Off-Budget requests
    • Carry-forward Spending Plans
    • Faculty Reassignment Report
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of staff development and supervision principles.
Knowledge of department operations, policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
Knowledge of software application programs, database management, and accounting principles.
Ability to conduct research and perform quantitative quality assurance reviews, resolve operational problems, and prepare required reports.
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate activities, resources, and materials associated with the needs of the department or program.
Ability to plan and direct the work of others.
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor in general business, business administration, finance, or a related field.
