Senior Application Architect/Developer

Aquasight is a leading Digital AI company focused on developing innovative solutions for public water and wastewater systems. Based in Troy, MI, we are rapidly expanding nationwide and seeking a Senior Frontend Team Lead to join our high-performance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development develop a multi-tenant, template-driven front-end application for our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. You will lead and guide team members, collaborate closely with our AI team and Product Managers, and maintain high standards in SDLC. You will also engage in backend scripting and development to support our real-time data centric system, conduct code reviews and plan for unit/integration tests.

Responsibilities:
· Lead a team of developers in building configurable, template-driven, multi- tenant web front end platforms and mobile apps for a real-time data centric system.
· Mentor and guide team members to ensure high-quality code and best practices.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable and optimal web/mobile applications.
· Develop interactive visualization tools and dashboards for real-time data and self-service multi-tenant applications.
· Engage in backend scripting and API development to connect to backends.
· Ensure security and compliance by identifying potential security threats and developing mitigation plans.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. · 10+ years of experience in developing Web and SaaS applications with proficiency in Angular or other modern JS frameworks.
  2. · Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers.
  3. · Strong background in web design languages including HTML, SASS, Bootstrap, Material Design, PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX, jQuery, RxJS, D3.js, Responsive design, and Cross-browser compatibility.
  4. · Proficiency in integrating web services and programming in API development for applications.
  5. · Strong analytical and design skills with a solid understanding of design patterns, refactoring, object-oriented and functional design patterns.
  6. · Experience with AWS services
  7. · Experience using automated build tools such as Webpack and Gulp, and continuous integration/deployment tools like Jenkins.
  8. · Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT.
  9. · Hands-on experience in identifying security threats and implementing OWASP Top 10 Security Solutions.
  10. · Experience in setting up and integrating SSO and MFA solutions.
  11. · Understanding and familiarity with mapping and GIS-centric applications.
  12. · Methodical and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  13. · Proven track record in the full life cycle of software development, having successfully launched at least three enterprise front-end products and one mobile app.
  14. · Attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  15. · Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a remote working environment. Strong time management skills.
