Job Description
Summary/Objective
The human resource coordinator facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function including but not limited to record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Essential Functions
  • Responsible for leading the full-cycle recruitment process, working with management to identify front-line recruitment needs, developing a recruiting plan, sourcing candidates, advertise job postings, liaise and negotiate with agencies, attend job fairs (when required), assist with interviews and make formal offers. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS.
  • Assist with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Assist or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • File documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other administrative functions.
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Complete, verify and maintain all Employment Eligibility Verification forms (I-9) ensuring compliance. Submits online investigation requests and assist with new-employee background checks.
  • Prepares new-employee files.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews.
