Gift Shop Attendant

Position Summary
As a Team Member of the Gift Shop Team, the Gift Shop Clerk is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The Gift Shop Clerk is responsible for tending to the needs of Guests and answering any questions they might ask before promptly completing transactions with them. 

Position Functions
Essential Functions
•    Responsible for greeting, interacting, and monitoring Guests to help the store in loss prevention. 
•    Responsible for providing fast, friendly, and courteous Guest service.
•    Knowledgeable of all store merchandise; use suggestive selling techniques when engaging with Guests.
•    Process business transactions, handle cash, process debit/credit cards, and perform returns or exchanges while accurately balancing the cash drawer on a daily basis.
•    Accurately note spoilage or damage of any/all items carried in stock.
•    Assist in stocking store displays as needed and managing store inventory.
•    Maintain cleanliness of the store by folding merchandise, dusting, vacuuming, re-hanging garments, etc.
•    Process, check and stock inventory to ensure deliveries are correct and of good quality. 
•    Make tailored recommendations based on Guest needs.
•    Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to Guests, vendors, and Team Members.
•    Other duties as assigned.

•    Driven to exceed expectations while remaining accountable and fair.
•    Able to include the word “Bawk” at the end of every Guest interaction. 

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
•    Must be at least 21 years of age.
•    3+ months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    Basic knowledge of inventory management.
•    Basic knowledge of POS (Point of Sale).
•    Basic math skills.
•    Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite. 

Preferred qualifications:
•    1+ years in hospitality.
