We are seeking a Gift Processing Associate to support accurate and timely gift processing, donation entry, database updates, and operations support for the External Relations department in New York, NY.
About the Role
The Gift Processing Associate is responsible for managing and executing key gift processing activities that support fundraising operations across the External Relations department. Reporting to the Associate Director, Development Operations, this role will process offline donations, maintain donor records, support data entry needs, and help ensure gift and donor information is accurate in Salesforce NPC.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented fundraising operations professional with nonprofit experience, strong data entry skills, and the ability to manage high-volume processing work accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and enter offline donations, including opening and sorting mail, scanning documentation, and entering donations into Salesforce NPC.
  • Process and enter donations received through other donation platforms.
  • Track and enter matching gift information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Complete internal database support tickets for the External Relations team.
  • Create, update, and maintain donor and gift records to support accurate fundraising operations.
  • Assist with data reconciliation, data integrity, and routine database clean-up.
  • Support the External Relations team with gift processing, data entry, and operations needs.
  • Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum two years of fundraising or fundraising operations experience preferred.
  • Nonprofit experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to enter and review data accurately.
  • Experience working with donor databases, CRM systems, or Salesforce preferred.
  • Ability to manage high-volume work within short timeframes while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to support multiple requests and priorities.
