Summary of Job Duties

Under the direction of the Interim Director and with a high degree of autonomy in day-to-day operations, the Financial Analyst manages fiscal operations, payroll administration, budget development, and financial analysis and reporting for the Institute for Integrative and Innovative Research (I³R). The Analyst works with staff in the Office of the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Financial Affairs for assistance and guidance as needed.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least two years of experience in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis
  • Experience supporting financial operations through Workday

Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business or Operations Management
  • Experience with data mining techniques
  • Experience with grant and gift financial reporting
  • Experience working with complex databases
  • Experience with the University of Arkansas financial and accounting processes
