Job description

The Apple Gift Card Product team is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Product Manager to drive the end-to-end product strategy, development, and growth across both physical and digital gift card experiences globally. You will lead cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, high-impact solutions that enhance customer engagement, optimize revenue, and ensure operational excellence across the physical and digital gift card lifecycle. Strong communication skills, across technical and non-technical audiences, and analytical expertise are essential.

Description

We’re looking for a dynamic Product Manager with expertise in physical and digital product development, consumer experience, pricing, and offer management to join the Apple Gift Card team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the product strategy for Apple's physical gift cards, including their design, packaging, manufacturing, distribution, and the associated customer journeys for redemption, offers, and pricing. This includes staying abreast of market trends, competitive offerings, and consumer preferences.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Design, Marketing, Retail, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Business Operations teams to define requirements and deliver innovative physical gift card products and experiences.
  • Define, prioritize, and implement product enhancements across the physical and digital gift card lifecycle, from concept and design to manufacturing, distribution, retail placement, and the digital redemption experience.
  • Analyze market data, consumer insights, and sales performance to inform pricing strategies, promotional offers, and product design decisions for gift cards.
  • Ensure a seamless and intuitive end-to-end customer experience for physical and digital gift card purchase, gifting, and redemption, continually seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Set KPIs and use data-driven insights to continuously improve physical gift card product performance, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes.
  • Provide strategic updates to senior leadership, highlighting market opportunities, product performance, customer feedback, and recommendations.
  • Oversee relationships with external vendors and partners involved in the manufacturing, fulfillment, and retail distribution of physical Apple Gift Cards, ensuring quality and alignment with Apple standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on physical consumer products, payments, retail, or e-commerce.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch and manage consumer-facing products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at operationalizing data-driven insights to inform product decisions.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing competing priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex product strategies and customer experiences.
  • Thrives in a fast-evolving environment, working with autonomy and diplomacy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working with gift cards, stored-value products, physical retail products, or digital payments.
  • Experience with consumer product design, pricing models, or offer management is highly desirable.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
