Job description

Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop, analyze, validate, and document cyber capabilities, translating operational requirements into detailed specifications.
โ€ข Support development of capability architectures, functional/non-functional specifications, and implementation plans including scope, timeline, cost, and risk analysis.
โ€ข Build and maintain Communities of Interest across international defense organizations, industry, and academia for capability development and validation.
โ€ข Support other capability development activities: feasibility studies, technical/operational analyses, and experimentation campaigns.
โ€ข Organize and participate in meetings, workshops, and events; travel as needed.
Experience & Skills:
โ€ข Masterโ€™s degree in engineering, systems engineering, or computer science (or Bachelorโ€™s with 5+ years relevant post-degree experience).
โ€ข Hands-on experience (minimum five projects in last ten years) authoring specifications, architectures, functional analysis, and designs in military or cyber systems contexts.
โ€ข Professional CIS security/cyber defense certification (CISSP, GIAC Security Expert, CISM).
โ€ข Experience in architecture development using NAF or TOGAF applied to defense/cyber systems.
โ€ข Experience developing large-scale software systems (>100,000 lines of code, >$50M) for cyber operations, including rapid prototyping and MVPs.
โ€ข Proficiency in DevSecOps, cloud services (Azure, AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), virtual machines, development environments (GitHub/GitLab, VS), programming languages (Python, Java), databases and data lakes, and AI-assisted development.
