Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior/Lead Information Security Architect to join our team. You will be the cornerstone of our security strategy, responsible for designing and implementing robust security architectures that protect our most critical cloud-based workloads. This is a high-impact role for a self-starter who thrives on solving complex security challenges in fast-evolving, data-centric cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership: Design and lead the implementation of enterprise-level security solutions, specifically focusing on cloud-native environments (AWS Commercial/Government).
Workload Security: Develop and maintain rigorous security standards for critical production workloads, ensuring data integrity, availability, and confidentiality.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with engineering and data teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline and data infrastructure.
Continuous Learning: Proactively stay ahead of the threat landscape, exploring new technologies, and advocating for security best practices across the organization.
Data Governance & Security: Architect security controls for complex data ecosystems, specifically working with platforms like Databricks, Starburst, Collibra, and Immuta to ensure governed and secure data access.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in information security architecture.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Cloud Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with AWS (Commercial or Government clouds).
Certifications: While not mandatory, relevant technical certifications such as GCAD (GIAC Certified Architect) or GDSA (GIAC Defensible Security Architecture) are highly advantageous.
