Registered Nurse/GI Lab

Location: West Hollywood, CA

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 Hours, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse position in the GI Lab specialty. GI procedures are performed under general anesthesia, MAC, and moderate sedation. The role involves assisting intra-operatively with all GI procedures and maintaining knowledge of equipment and accessories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist intra-op with all GI procedures performed under general anesthesia, MAC, and moderate sedation
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment and accessories used in GI procedures
  • Perform and support procedures including: EGD, colonoscopy, PEG placement, GI bleed management, EUS, ERCP, and specimen handling

Required Skills

  • Peds Endo experience required
  • PACU experience required
  • Inpatient experience required
  • Scrub experience required
  • Ability to float as required
  • No scheduling or RTO requests can be accommodated

Education Requirements

  • CA RN License required (must be active at time of submission; pending license not accepted)
  • ACLS certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • PALS certification required
  • LA Fire Card required

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of GI/Endo related experience required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Weekend work: Not required
  • Floating: Required
  • On-call: Not required
  • Flu vaccination required — no exemptions
  • COVID-19 vaccination: Not required

Important Notes

  • Scrub experience is required — this is a hard requirement for this position
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Pending CA RN license is NOT accepted; license must be active at time of submission
