Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Play a crucial role in supporting the Green Bay Packers’ digital & social presence as a social media graphic designer, creating innovative, high-impact visual content and graphics that drive fan engagement. Join our fast paced, growing social media team while contributing to the production of visually engaging content that resonates with a passionate global fan base.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the design execution for the social media presence for the Green Bay Packers’ official accounts, including TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Snapchat, Threads, and YouTube.
  • Create high-impact, on-brand graphics, motion graphics, video edits, and visual assets.
  • Design and produce engaging visual content across all social media platforms.
  • Support the visual component of global marketing strategy, targeting any key markets identified by the organization (Germany, U.K., Ireland, etc.).
  • Develop creative visual content strategies that drive fan engagement and loyalty across digital and social platforms.
  • Assist with our Influencers strategy and implementation and other NFL initiatives.
  • Stay on top of trends and suggest creative ideas for engaging followers with fresh design approaches and visual storytelling.
  • Provide support for event coverage (including Packers games) with the ability to quickly produce on-site and real-time high-quality graphics and visual content.
  • Analyze the performance of designed assets and use insights to iterate on future creative.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis of the social space with a focus on visual trends.
  • Assist with managing live streams of press conferences and other live events.
  • Aid in executing paid social media campaigns.

Qualifications:

 

  • Undergraduate degree (preferably in graphic design, journalism, or a communications field).
  • A minimum of two years of experience with graphic design and/or digital media.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects (or related software).
  • Strong understanding of creating graphics for a digital and social media audience.
  • Robust knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Exhibit strong written and communication skills, tailored to the unique nuances of each social platform.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Passion for sports, particularly the NFL, is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge of the Green Bay Packers’ organization, the NFL, and football is a plus.
  • Availability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed, depending on game schedule and events.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for periods of time.
  • Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Operates in a professional office environment.
