What You'll Do
  • Analyze customer technical specifications and identify project requirements.
  • Develop electrical controls concepts and electrical site-installation estimates for process equipment and conveyors.
  • Coordinate in-house estimating activities, including relevant drawings, specifications, and bid documentation.
  • Coordinate electrical subcontractors supporting process equipment and conveyance projects.
  • Partner with Dürr teams in Germany and Mexico on project requirements and estimating activities.
  • Support equipment layouts in collaboration with layout engineers.
  • Interpret and develop Visio schematics for automotive paint-process equipment.
  • Develop electrical purchased-equipment lists.
  • Identify and evaluate alternative equipment suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare detailed estimating spreadsheets and customer bid forms.
  • Develop technical specifications, bid clarifications, and proposal documentation.
  • Develop and maintain project and job schedules.
  • Conduct technical presentations and provide clarification to customers and internal teams.
  • Support project handover following award.
  • Participate in planning meetings, design reviews, and other project-implementation activities.
  • Travel approximately 15%.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
