Job description

  • Accountable for leading projects related to our Digital Engineering strategy
  • Contribute to the definition, evolution, and continuous improvement of Digital Engineering capabilities within the agreed roadmap
  • Act as a subjectmatter expert for selected Digital Engineering domains, methods, data models, and tools
  • Support cross functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, IT, and other stakeholders by providing technical and methodological expertise
  • Drive implementation and operationalization of Digital Capabilities in projects, including methods, processes, data structures, and tooling
  • Support adoption by coaching engineers, contributing to training material, and supporting pilots and rollouts
  • Analyze current engineering workflows and identify improvement potentials regarding speed, quality, predictability, and digital maturity
  • Contribute to the definition and refinement of metrics and indicators to assess the effectiveness of Digital Engineering solutions
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline
  • Several years of professional experience applying digitalization or digital engineering approaches in complex, hardwarecentric engineering environments
  • Strong handson experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and engineering authoring and lifecycle systems (e.g. Windchill, Teamcenter, Xpedition, NX)
  • Solid understanding of engineering processes, data flows, and toolchains across the product lifecycle
  • Structured, analytical working style with the ability to translate engineering needs into practical, scalable solutions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and organizational boundaries
  • Advanced English and basic German language skills
