Position Information Position Title Adjunct Instructor of German Requisition Number A00085P Job Summary/Basic Function Part-time adjunct instructor of German to teach lower-division (1000 - 2000 level) language classes per semester during the academic year 2026-27. Deliver instruction to University students and collaborate with other instructors. Class modality may be flexible, including hybrid or virtual options.

A complete syllabus will be provided. Instructors follow the course scope-and-sequence and develop lesson plans working toward unit and course assessment. **Screening of candidates will begin on July 1st.

Required Qualifications Master's Degree in German or related field. One year of German teaching experience at the college level. Individuals with extensive teaching experience at the secondary level may also be considered.

One year of language teaching experience at the college level. Evidence of at least Advanced High in the ACTFL proficiency scale. Preferred Qualifications Background Check?

Due to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), individuals who have worked in a salaried capacity for Weber State University are ineligible to be hired as an hourly or adjunct employee at Weber State for six months.
