As a Junior Project Manager, you'll be part of an international and innovative environment, contributing to challenging projects and helping to shape them from start to finish in Spain! Key responsibilities

  • Support the management of work packages across all phases of EPCM projects
  • Assist in tracking project performance related to schedule, cost, and quality
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors
  • Support project planning activities, including schedules, cost estimates, and reporting
  • Supervise contractors' on-site activities to ensure compliance
  • Assist in procurement processes and basic contract administration tasks
  • Maintain organized project documentation and ensure clear communication among stakeholders
  • Contribute to feasibility studies, technical analysis, and gradually take on increasing project responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Drees & Sommer international organization
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Strong interest in EPCM project delivery within industrial projects
  • Previous experience in project management, engineering, or real estate consulting
  • Basic understanding of project lifecycle management, including planning, procurement, and construction phases under Spanish and European legislation
  • International exposure and intercultural awareness are an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, proactive mindset and willingness to take responsibility
  • Willingness to travel regularly as required by project needs (across Spain and internationally if it is required)
  • Passion for working on major international projects and for travelling
  • Ability to take on responsibility quickly
  • Leadership skills and willingness to lead, learn and contribute to the team
  • A high level of English is required (C1). Knowledge of German is a plus.
