  • Unit: 20-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit
  • Schedule: Full-time inpatient, typical daytime hours (exact times not specified)
  • Call: 1:6 weekend rotation
  • Start Date: Immediate
Licensure & Credentialing Requirements
  • Board Certification: Required OR truly Board Eligible (Psychiatry)
  • Board Status: Must be current (no lapsed certification accepted)
  • State License: New York license required or ability to obtain
  • DEA: Required
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience or strong interest in geriatric psychiatry preferred
  • Not accepting locum candidates
  • Not open to visa sponsorship
Clinical Role Overview
  • Provide inpatient psychiatric care for geriatric patients
  • Collaborate with Clinical Coordinator/Social Worker trained in geriatric psychiatry
  • Work within multidisciplinary team: therapists, counselors, case managers, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners
