NOTE: This job is located in Yerington, NV

Schedule: Sat-Sun, 7am-3pm

This position will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the geothermal power plants. Geothermal energy experience a plus, however, excellent work ethic, reliability, integrity, and willingness to learn are essential.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain accurate daily operational logs and documentation in accordance with plant procedures.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plant systems, identifying leaks, unusual sounds, and other operational anomalies.
  • Perform general upkeep and maintenance of power plant grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and functional environment.
  • Monitor and manage chemical treatments to mitigate pipeline corrosion and maintain system integrity.
  • Execute all tasks with a strong emphasis on safety, prioritizing the well-being of personnel and protection of company assets.
  • Comply with company drug and alcohol policies, including successful completion of pre-employment screening and participation in random testing throughout employment.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • General maintenance knowledge

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to perform physically demanding tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying heavy equipment and materials.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, access elevated platforms, and navigate walkways regularly.
  • Requires frequent stooping, bending, and kneeling during maintenance and inspection activities.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions approximately 80% of the time, year-round.
  • Ability to consistently lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be capable of traversing all areas of the power plant and construction zones safely and efficiently.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate company vehicles as needed.
