We are seeking a Experienced Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals interested in a hands-on role testing construction materials and supporting infrastructure development. Compensation: $22-25/hour (depending on experience)
Location: West Valley City, UT
FLSA Exemption: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (schedule may vary)
What you'll be doing:
Receive and test construction materials such as soils, aggregates, and concrete
Perform laboratory testing including:
Moisture Content
Sieve Analysis
Atterberg Limits
Proctor Compaction
Consolidation
Direct Shear
Compressive Strength
Record accurate data and report findings to the Laboratory Manager
Maintain lab equipment and workspace according to safety and quality standards
What you have:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Willingness to follow procedures and contribute to team success
What will make you stand out:
1 year of experience in a similar lab or materials testing role
ACI or UDOT certifications
Coursework or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or geology
Preferred Certification(s):
