Job description

**THIS POSITION WOULD REQUIRE YOU TO RELOCATE TO JAPAN OR SOUTH KOREA** My client is seeking a GEO Administrator to support a federal customer. The GeoBase Administrator will support an Air Force mission by providing geospatial solutions to attain, maintain, and sustain the PACAF and AFIMSC GeoBase vision of one geospatial information structure that electronically depicts built and natural infrastructure on each Air Force installation. Candidate must have experience administering Esri ArcGIS solutions, developing GIS data in an enterprise environment, gathering application requirements, and incorporating geospatial capabilities into new and existing business processes. Responsibilities include: The GeoBase Administrator position works closely with our government counterparts daily to plan and execute projects such as GIS data development, web application development, the coordination of GIS training and the maintenance and accreditation of the GeoBase hardware and software. The goal is to help Air Force organizations get the most out of GIS technology. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of three years of experience using and administering Esri ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Server solutions.
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience developing GIS data in an enterprise environment.
• Experience integrating enterprise geospatial applications into new and existing business processes.
• Familiarity with administering and configuring web-mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience gathering application requirements from users of geospatial information.
• Experience providing formal and informal training. Desired Qualifications
• Master of Science degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
• Experience with and knowledge of advanced relational database concepts.
• Experience providing formal and informal technical training.
• Experience with the Department of the Air Force GEO Program.
• Experience with AutoCAD Map 3D.
• Experience with Trimble resource-mapping and survey-grade GPS solutions.
• Knowledge of the Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE).
• Programming and scripting experience.
• Ability to produce clear and effective technical documentation.
• Security Clearance.
