Job description

Pennoni is seeking a Land Surveying Project Manager for our Raleigh, NC office with experience consistent, but not limited to:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead survey technicians in performing field survey operations, survey data processing and mapping.
  • Perform QA/QC functions to assure deliverables meet company, State, and client standards.
  • Development of cost estimates and preparation of technical reports and proposals for land surveying projects.

Job Requirements:
  • NC Professional Land Surveyor licensure or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • A minimum of 10 years survey experience with at least 1 year experience as a Surveying Project Manager.
  • Route, boundary, and topographic field survey and office experience.
  • Ability to prepare construction computations and as-built drawings.
  • Proven track record of successful survey project management
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record

Preferred Attributes:
  • Bachelor of Science in Geomatics or Associates Degree in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering Technology
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or or MicroStation surveying platforms.
  • Familiarity with Leica Geosystems and/or Trimble hardware and software.
  • FAA Part 107 certification.
  • Experience processing UAS and HDLS point clouds.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
