The Surveying and Geomatics Business Unit is seeking an Oregon Market Leader in Portland, OR.

As the Geomatics/Geospatial Market Leader, you'll serve as both a trusted advisor and growth champion for DEA's surveying and geomatics practice in Oregon. Your day may begin meeting with clients and industry partners to identify emerging opportunities, followed by collaborating with technical teams to develop strategies that strengthen our market presence and position DEA for future growth. 

You'll balance business development, relationship management, and market leadership - guiding pursuit efforts, shaping growth strategies, and mentoring team members while staying connected to industry trends and client needs. What You BringRequired Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of developing client relationships, winning work, and growing business within the Oregon geomatics, surveying, geospatial, infrastructure, or related consulting markets.  
  • Experience developing and executing market growth strategies, client account plans, and pursuit strategies that result in measurable revenue growth.  
  • Strong professional network and established relationships with public- and private-sector clients throughout Oregon.  
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a consulting environment, including collaboration across technical, operational, and business development teams.  
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.  
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred; Oregon licensure or ability to obtain licensure is a plus.  
  • 12+ years of related experience for a Level II role; 15+ years for a Level III role. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license. 
  • Established relationships with key Oregon public- andprivate-sectorclients. 
  • Experience ina businessdevelopment, market leadership, or client account management role. 
  • Active involvement in relevant professional and industry organizations. 
  • Experience mentoring staff and supporting business development efforts. 
  • Master's degree in a related field.

         The posted salary range represents the typical range for this position and is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
