The Opportunity:
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Inspector to join our growing team. The Inspector will perform dimensional, receiving, and final inspection. (1st Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm)
Duties will require but not limited to:
  1. Performs inspections for first article and production readiness
  2. Manufacture and/or tests parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
  3. Maintain accurate and reliable documentation
  4. Perform inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are manufactured in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications
  5. Visually inspects parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces
  6. Operation of 3D structured light (i.e. "blue light") scanners, CMM equipment, and associated software.
  7. Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell
  8. Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensure that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained.
  9. Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
  10. Strive to accomplish team goals and enhance the quality of machined parts through the reduction of scrap and improvement of throughput.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing quality inspection
  • Experience with CMM systems and have familiarity with open DMIS language preferred
  • Experience with optical 3D structed light scanning equipment and Geomagic Control X inspection software preferred
  • Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading is required.
  • Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
  • U.S. Citizenship status required. Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
