Job Description:

Duties:
  • Write programs and develop user interfaces, menus and application workflows to suuport GIS application migration and evolving user needs.
  • Configure, refactor, and migrate GIS web applications (including Web Experience Builder) to support platform transitions. Perform complex spatial analyses and produce application outputs and reports according to business and operational requirements.
  • Assist in the development of GIS applications and systems that create, maintain, or leverage geospatial basemap information.
  • Conduct GIS program activities, utilizing GIS hardware and software to support application development, testing, and deployment.
  • Create, adjust, correct, convert and distribute base maps and thematic data in support of migrated applications.
  • Maintain and update spatial databases required for application functionality and data integrity.
  • Document application configurations, procedures, and migration outcomes; validate data for accuracy and completeness, and maintain required metadata.
  • Evaluate information and data from internal and external sources to ensure suitability for use in migrated GIS applications.
  • Act as a "technical consultant" to internal customers during application migration, configuration, testing, and quality validation efforts.

Skills:
  • Experience in ArcGIS Online and Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, Python
