The Vice President of Sales for the Corrosion Resistant Technology Group (CRTG) will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening customer and supplier relationships across the corrosion-resistant segment. This leader will oversee all aspects of sales strategy, operations, and team management while ensuring profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep knowledge of industrial markets, corrosion-resistant products, and engineered solutions. The VP of Sales will play a critical role in shaping strategy, mentoring sales teams, and partnering with executive leadership to achieve corporate growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Leadership
    • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with CRTG's and Flow Control Group's (FCG) growth objectives.
    • Identify and capture new market opportunities across corrosion-resistant products, engineered solutions, and industrial applications.
    • Build and manage key customer and supplier relationships to secure long-term partnerships and contracts.
    • Develop annual sales budgets, forecasts, and pricing strategies; ensure expenses align with revenue and profit goals.
  • Team & Talent Management
    • Lead, hire, and develop high-performing inside and outside sales teams, instilling a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Establish clear performance goals, provide coaching and mentoring, and implement incentive/commission programs to drive achievement.
    • Foster cross-functional alignment with operations, finance, engineering, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Customer & Market Engagement
    • Strengthen customer loyalty through proactive account management, technical expertise, and value-added solutions.
    • Partner with suppliers and distributors to optimize sales channels, territory coverage, and growth initiatives.
    • Represent CRTG in key negotiations, high-stakes presentations, and strategic partnership discussions.
  • Operational & Financial Oversight
    • Ensure CRM, forecasting, and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Flow 360) are fully leveraged to provide accurate, real-time visibility into pipeline and performance, including cross-functionally led S&OP planning.
    • Maintain P&L responsibility with disciplined financial management and margin control.
    • Drive operational excellence through streamlined sales processes, compliance with OSHA and customer regulations, and adoption of best-in-class sales tools.
  • Succession & Growth Readiness
    • Collaborate with CRTG leadership and FCG executives to align business unit objectives with overall group strategy.
    • Partner with the Operating Group Leader to gain exposure to broader business functions, including acquisitions, integration, and cross-selling across FCG brands.
    • Demonstrate leadership and decision-making capabilities necessary to transition into the Operating Group Leader role over time.
    • Maintain a strong talent funnel and develop succession plans across the business, scalable with growth expectations.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience
  • Minimum 10 years in sales leadership roles with a proven track record of revenue and profit growth in industrial markets.
  • Scaling sales teams across multi-geo markets and developing succession plans to mitigate risk to key roles in the business
  • Strong experience in corrosion-resistant products, engineered solutions, or related industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated success leading inside and outside sales teams, building customer and supplier relationships, and executing strategic growth initiatives.
  • Developing, implementing and executing 1- & 3-year strategic plans
  • Previous P&L responsibility with the ability to balance top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
  • Development of variable sales compensation structures that align sales goals to budgets and strategic initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional interaction and engagement internal to the Organization and externally with Customers & Suppliers at all levels.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution skills with the ability to operate at both tactical and executive levels.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilities.
  • High business acumen with a deep understanding of distribution models, industrial markets, and engineered product sales.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and financial analysis skills.

Travel
Up to 50% travel may be required to support sales teams, engage with customers, and develop market opportunities. A valid driver's license is required.
